FAQs:
Are there any discounts available?
We offer hybrid packages if you choose to combine a music licence with Audio Post and/or Music Composition. It basically means we can offer you a better overall deal if you go through Envelope Audio for the audio post and/or music composition for a certain production. Campaign discounts for advertising or a series of online videos are also available. Are all licences in perpetuity?
Tracks licensed on an individual basis can either be licensed for a specific term or in perpetuity. Blanket licences are always cleared in perpetuity. How does the blanket licence work?
You pay a flat fee for a specific production and can use as many tracks as you like within that production. All blanket licences are priced on application based on the following parameters:What type of production is it?
Is there a series of episodes?
How long is the running time?
How much music coverage will the production have?
Will the music be used as a theme track or background?
On what media will the production be shown/broadcast?
Which territories will the production be shown in?
Are the tracks customisable?
Our tracks are easily customisable and can be tailored to your specific music brief. What does non-exclusive mean?
All of our tracks are licensed non-exclusively which means that the same tracks can be used across various productions. If you’re interested in licensing a track exclusively for a specific production, please get in touch.Do I have to fill in cue sheets?
If your project is for Broadcast TV or Radio then you will need to fill in a cue sheet and submit to the relevant performing rights organisation (APRA/AMCOS in Australia) in order to ensure royalty payments to our composers.
